I would go back to Maritime Parc. My son and I went for brunch and will try dinner one of these days. Location is close to Statue of Liberty ferry. Service is good, friendly. Enjoyed the crab cake and my son had the crab hash which he said was really good. Love their blueberry ricotta donuts. Parking is free if you are in Restaurant less than 2 hours.

Old enough to have to drive slowly

You can take LIRR to Penn Station, then take the Path train to Jersey City NJ (Grove St or Exchange Pl). Then take a taxi to Maritime Parc.

You can take kids, not sure the menu is that kidd friendly, but I'm sure you could find something for them to eat. Plus you can walk around before or after the dinner in the surrounding park

On a week night, probably not, not a weekend or Friday night, yes

They have room I'd think. Ud have to call. Great location tho

Yes, and as long as you eat, they will validate your parking
